The St. John the Baptist Parish Animal Shelter provides services for companion animals owned by parishioners, and Friends of the SJAS is here to help them.

ARNO encourages the foster, adoption and reunion of pets with their families as well as spaying and neutering all companion animals through our no-kill shelter.

Our goal is to place animals in foster homes, care for them until they are healthy, spayed or neutered, and then find them loving, permanent homes.

We put dogs into loving, dedicated, and responsible families after a thorough adoption process that includes carefully vetting potential adopters and teaching them about the obligations and costs of adopting a pet into their homes and lives.

Zeus' Rescues' aim, responsibility, and goal is to end pet euthanasia and homelessness in the Greater New Orleans Area. With an emphasis on youngsters and the elderly, the charity is also dedicated to community development and pet education.
