Our goal is to help adoptable companion animals who are homeless live happier lives and to support efforts to reduce the number of these animals.

We're glad you're here. Lubbock Animal Services is one of the city's departments of public health and safety. Quality Field Operations and an Adoption Center are provided by Lubbock Animal Services, giving cats and dogs a temporary home until they can find acceptable and long-term new homes.

On the South Plains, there is a non-profit no-kill dog rescue center called Morris Safe House.

Dr. Brenda and Joe Wilbanks founded the non-profit foundation known as The Haven Animal Care Shelter in 1977. Over 100 animals, mostly dogs and cats, call The Haven ACS, a no-kill, non-profit animal sanctuary, home.
