Animal House Adoption Center

Protecting public health and safety, ensuring the humane treatment of domesticated animals, and offering the general public high-quality, professional services are the core missions of the Department of Animal Services.

Our goal is to preserve puppies and canines at high risk from Kentucky shelters. We save sick or injured pets that are in danger of being put down. We strive to give them another opportunity for a wonderful life.

A 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization called Bluegrass Doberman Rescue is dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming Doberman Pinschers in need.

The Kentucky Humane Society is an advocate for pets. We are building more compassionate communities through leadership, instruction, and pro-active solutions.

We are breeders of Cane Corso dogs and American Blue Pitbulls. Products from Pitbull Expressions help fund our no kill rescue operation.
