Los Alamos County Animal Shelter

Since 1999, Los Alamos Friends of Shelter and Companion Animals LAFOSCA (formerly Los Alamos Friends of the Shelter LAFOS) has funded our spay/neutering program, given foster homes for dogs and cats, and funded catastrophic animal medical treatment.

Our goal at Espanola Humane, a nonprofit open-admission shelter, is to enhance the lives of animals in underserved areas.

The Santa Fe Animal Shelter has been devoted to its objective to help animals, save lives, and promote compassion since 1939. We are the largest open-admission, no-kill shelter in northern New Mexico.

It is against the law for any animal owner to fail, deny, or neglect to give their pet suitable and adequate food, drink, shade, or shelter.

By arranging low-cost spay/neuter procedures, FELINES & FRIENDS strives to end pet overpopulation while also enhancing the quality of life for companion animals and their owners through ongoing education.

The mission of Kindred Spirits Animal Sanctuary (KSAS) is to provide hospice care and end-of-life care for elderly, unwanted dogs, horses, and chickens in a tranquil sanctuary environment while also promoting the compassionate, dignified treatment of all living things as they age.
