Leitchfield Animal Shelter

Animals are rescued by Always Faithful Animal Rescue, a nonprofit organization situated in Custer, Kentucky, and once they are repaired and up to date on their vaccinations, they are placed for adoption into caring homes.

We are giving animals a haven to call their permanent residence.

As a tiny, 25-run rural Kentucky shelter, adoptions and rescue are very essential to us. Under our supervision, we provide excellent care for the dogs and cats we take in.

With the help of more than 50 volunteers in addition to 4 animal control officers, the Animal Care and Control Department serves Hardin County. They provide care for up to 200 animals at a time in the shelter.

Since 1897, a NO-KILL animal shelter has housed homeless animals that are available for adoption. We improve the lives of people and pets by saving the most vulnerable animals.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on community support and donations to continue our lifesaving work.
