Southern Cross Animal Rescue

We are a nonprofit group working to improve the lives of Jones County's stray, abandoned, and maltreated animals.

The number of abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals in our area is overwhelming, therefore New Hope Animal Rescue Center wants to establish a rescue in Petal, Mississippi. We wish to lighten the load, provide education, and locate permanent homes.

Bay Springs, Mississippi's Happy Healthy Pet Adoption, Inc. (HHPA) is a no-kill animal shelter. A volunteer, unpaid Board of Directors runs our shelter. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit company that was created in 2003. All donations, which are tax deductible, go toward the direct treatment of animals.

Our goal is to strengthen the link between humans and their dogs by fostering a sense of belonging, compassion, and cooperation. and to pave the way for sustainable, accountable, and neighborhood-based lifesaving.

Our animal shelter is 501C3. We take in dogs and cats and charge adoption fees. Before they leave the building, they will receive spaying or neutering.
