La Crescent Animal Rescue

The Winona Area Humane Society (WAHS), which has been in operation since 1992, is a no-kill shelter that each year finds loving permanent homes for hundreds of cats and dogs. We do not get any state or federal money; instead, we primarily rely on fundraising, kind gifts, and adoption or surrender fees to further our purpose of helping homeless animals.

An all-volunteer organization called Small Dog Rescue (SDR) is dedicated to the rescue, treatment, and placement of canines weighing less than 20 pounds.

We support and offer obedient refuge and safety for lost or abandoned companion animals. Find new homes for the companion animals that are in our care. and to offer public education on the issue of animal overpopulation.

The Red Wing, Minnesota-based River Bluff Humane Society is a nonprofit organization that helps the locals by providing care for stray and abandoned animals. By offering refuge, encouraging adoption and responsible pet ownership, and combating animal overpopulation, it is our objective to safeguard animals.
