The Hope Alliance For Animals Incorporated

The Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (commonly known as "VSAWL") was established in 1972 by a group of women who recognized a growing demand for animal-focused initiatives along the Connecticut coastline.

We seek out loving adoptive homes for the homeless cats and kittens we rescue, care for them in our no-kill facility.

Our goal is to assist shelters and rescues in finding homes for these dogs. We hold adoption fairs, perform neutering and spaying on dogs in shelters, and provide financial support for the rescue's medical expenses.

We think every pet deserves a loving home. Until they are adopted into their forever homes, we are dedicated to saving and improving the lives of homeless cats.

A non-profit cat rescue group called Branford Compassion Club (BCC) works with areas outside of Branford, Connecticut, as well.

The goal of Connecticut Greyhound Adoption, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, is to place retired racing greyhounds in long-term, devoted homes.
