An entirely volunteer-run 501(c)3 organization, elines of Chicago focuses on supporting rescues, networking cats out of open admission shelters, and recruiting foster families through helpful alliances with rescues in the midwest.

To sterilize as many feral, semi-feral, stray, and domestic cats as possible through low-cost or free spay-neuter services in order to lower the number of animals put to death as well as the feral cat population in DuPage County while also increasing the quality of life for both cats and people.

St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines, a non-profit cat rescue headquartered in foster homes in Wheaton, Illinois, was founded in late 2010 and aspires to provide the best transitional care for cats.

To save bully breeds that are in need and from high-kill shelters while building supportive, cooperative foster relationships to ensure the dogs are ultimately adopted into devoted, long-term homes.

106. New Leash On Life

NLOL Chicago is a nonprofit, entirely volunteer-run organization dedicated to saving shelter dogs from being put to sleep. NLOL Chicago addresses the national problem of pet overpopulation and the significance of spay/neuter through our adoption, foster, training, and education programs.

The only public animal shelter and control facility in the county is DuPage County Animal Services (DCAS). DCAS's goal is to safeguard the welfare, health, and safety of everyone living in DuPage County, including both people and their pets.
