We are a Michigan-based, 501C3 non-profit, charitable Chihuahua and small breed rescue. Every dog deserves a forever home and a second chance, according to our group of committed, passionate volunteers.

The foundation of our rescue organization IS, in fact, foster parents. For big and small dogs, adult to elderly dogs, dedicated foster homes are required.

Mission: Lead the no-kill movement by rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming, and providing a haven for stray dogs as well as for the animals owned by victims of domestic abuse.

We are the largest high-quality, high-volume, low-cost to no-cost spay and neuter, non-profit animal welfare organization in Michigan with clinics in Warren, Flint, Detroit, and Auburn Hills. Boxer Haven Rescue is available to assist you. There are events we don't want to occur but must accept, knowledge we don't want to acquire but must learn, and dogs we can't live without but must let go of.

The Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society (MACS) has committed its efforts since 1935 to giving stray, hurt, and abandoned animals a place to call home. We actively pursue affirmative legislative action while advancing humane education.
