Ana's safe haven rescue

A non-profit 501(c)3 animal shelter and adoption facility, the Humane Society of Harlingen (HSH) serves the City of Harlingen and the surrounding region.

The Animal Adoption Program, which debuted in 2009, is a public service advertising campaign aimed at encouraging prospective adopters to think of the shelter as their first stop when searching for a "new best friend" and spreading the message that pets in shelters are great and lovable.

There are currently roughly 70 animals living at the RGV Farm Sanctuary, which has been operating for a year.

The Brownsville Animal Regulation Care Center is dedicated to raising the standard of living for every person in our larger neighborhood.

The Raymondville Animal Shelter accepts stray, owner-returned, and neglected animals in an effort to reunite them with their owners. We are unable to keep animals longer than three days because not every animal will be adopted. The conditions for owning an animal in the City of Raymondville are outlined in our Animal City Ordinance 1212.

Through the adoption of healthy dogs, collaboration with the neighborhood animal shelter, and public education on humane dog care, Brownsville Animal Defense seeks to make the Rio Grande Valley a no-kill neighborhood.
