A full-service rescue, FHGRR is committed to saving unwanted, abused, abandoned, and homeless golden retrievers and providing them with the veterinary care they require. We make an effort to place our goldens in homes where they will live out their lives in love and care.

We are a 501(c)(3) rescue that saves lives through adoptions, spaying/neutering, and the chance to spread awareness, educate, and get involved in the community.

Animals in need have been taken under the wing of Charlie Dieterich & Pet Haven of South Carolina for more than 20 years.

At the Greenville Humane Society, we treat every animal with the same love and care as if it were our own. We put a lot of effort into giving homeless pets more than just the bare necessities of food and shelter; our pets also receive daily enrichment, adoration, and medical attention. Beyond adoption, we provide a wide range of preventative services, like as vaccines and spay/neuter surgeries, to make quality pet care accessible for our neighborhood and ensure that all animals can live out their lives as pets.

When it comes to saving the lives of our animal friends, a little goes a long way! Using community outreach and adoptive matching, Lucky Pup Rescue, a 501c3 non-profit dog rescue in Greenville, SC, is dedicated to saving as many homeless puppies as we can.
