Kent County Animal Shelter

Our goal as Second Chance Cats, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is to assist cats in municipal shelters that are at risk of being put down or cats with specific or medical requirements that are challenging for shelters to care for.

We are a no-kill rescue that accepts and rehomes animals across the nation. The majority of the animals we take in are waiting to be "put-down," therefore they require rescues like ours to assist them in finding a joyful and devoted home.

Fig and Friends is an all-volunteer pet rescue that provides whatever assistance we can to cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies so they can have a chance at a wonderful life. We are entirely supported by donations.

Located in West Michigan, we are a 501(c)3 home-based charity with a network of kind individuals who give needed products, provide foster homes, volunteer with us, and do a whole lot more.

To encourage the humane treatment of animals and their responsible care in West Michigan through instruction, leadership, placement, and protection.

We've grown from a few rooms in our homes to a brand-new rescue facility! We are a pretty new rescue, so we are still getting established in the neighborhood.
