Alachua County Animal Resources & Care

The Alachua County Humane Society, Gainesville Pet Rescue, and Helping Hands Pet Rescue leadership chose to permanently join forces in 2018, which resulted in the formation of the Humane Society of North Central Florida.

An all-volunteer, non-profit rescue organization for pets with adoption guarantees is called Helping Hands Pet Rescue, Inc.

We are a nonprofit, 501c3 cat rescue. When space and resources allow, we rescue, rehome, and treat sick cats.

Because the Gainesville community already cherishes these same ideals, the mission of Haile's Angels has struck a deep chord with our supporters. The closure of HAPR doesn't alter that.
