Our shelter is dedicated to helping put an end to the yearly killing of tens of thousands of abandoned animals in southern Florida by finding them good, adoptable, and loving homes.

Since October 2019, we have been proudly operating as a no-kill facility with the intention of finding suitable, secure, and loving homes for every animal in our care.

The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast (HSTC), which was founded in 1955, is the only no-kill, open access animal welfare organization operating in Martin County.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned and abused dogs and cats. Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic, and Ranch is the Humane Society of Greater Jupiter/Tequesta, a 501c3 organization, and the only no-kill animal rescue organization open to the public and serving north Palm Beach County and Martin County, Florida.

We are the only animal shelter in Indian River County that guarantees admission of every animal, regardless of condition, temperament, or suitability for adoption. Additionally, we commit to offering a wide range of services to keep pets in caring homes and away from shelters.
