When I put on Sandi's service jacket, she was aware that she had a task to complete. She gave her all to everyone she encountered every day of her life. It was fantastic to watch how happy she made other people. When I had to say goodbye to Sandi, she was just 16 years old.

The Waupun Area Animal Shelter, Inc. was founded to help the City of Waupun and the surrounding areas by treating stray and unwanted pets in an ethical, legal, and compassionate manner. It also works to create awareness in the Waupun area to encourage responsible pet ownership.

501(c)3 nonprofit organization The Oshkosh Area Humane Society is a private, independent charity (EIN: 39-1709813). OAHS does not receive operating funding from any other nonprofit or governmental agency, and it is not a member or affiliate of any other regional or national humane group.
