Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary

We are people who care enough to become involved in order to change the world, just like you. We are a grassroots, nonprofit organization that is run entirely by volunteers. We rely on their commitment and unwavering love and compassion for our canine friends to carry out our mission.

An organization called Last Chance at Life works to save the lives of animals in shelters in San Diego and the surrounding areas. For animals with medical, behavioral, and emotional issues, the organization offers training and medical care.

The San Diego Humane Society serves as the region's safety net for animals in need. 14 cities receive our animal services: Carlsbad, Del Mar, El Cajon, Encinitas, Escondido, Imperial Beach, La Mesa, Oceanside, Poway, San Diego, San Marcos, Santee, Solana Beach, and Vista.

Shelter to SoldierTM is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in California that adopts dogs from neighborhood shelters and trains them to be psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans who have PTSD, TBI, or other injuries related to traumatic service experiences.
