Sequoia Humane Society

Small animal rescue organization Humboldt Animal Rescue Team is based in Eureka, California. Since we started in May 2014, we have adopted out hundreds of animals and assisted the community in spaying and neutering, vaccinating, and feeding their pets, preventing many more animals from entering shelters.

We offer spay/neuter assistance for people on limited incomes, humane trapping techniques for feral cats, humane education programs, and a variety of other services to the public. We have a Community Adoption Center located in Eureka where we keep our healthy, adoptable kittens and puppies so that the public can help them socialize and learn how to properly interact with them.

Love is unconditional in an animal's eyes. Numerous animals suffer abuse, neglect, and abandonment because of how frequently their love is abused. Miranda's Rescue is here to rescue, heal, and educate those creatures. Considering that all animals should be appreciated.

Stray, neglected, and abandoned domestic animals are taken care of by the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office. The shelter often declines owner surrenders due to the enormous population of these kinds of unwanted animals.

(Sorry, Texas is not where we are an animal shelter.) We provide assistance to the local animals. We help with licenses, adoptions, food assistance, and evacuations if necessary. We are NOT animal control; the sheriff's office oversees the ACO.
