This public advisory commission's goals are to establish and plan programs, improve the Euclid Animal Shelter through our efforts to get grants, and plan fundraising events.

A skilled team of enthusiastic cat lovers known as Viva Los Gatos Cat Rescue is committed to saving and placing stray, abandoned, and mistreated cats and kittens in the greater Cleveland area in loving, permanent homes.

The nonprofit Big Paws Large Breed Rescue takes in surrendered dogs and provides them with a temporary home until we are able to place them with new, devoted homes. We are a no-kill animal rescue organization.

At the Lake Humane Society, we work to defend animals and foster relationships between people and their dogs via advocacy and instruction.

To promote compassion and put an end to animal suffering is the goal of the Cleveland Animal Protective League.

Secondhand Mutts was started in 2006 and ran as a grassroots community organization until becoming a recognized nonprofit in 2009. It was inspired by one dog left and tied to the door at the founders' canine socialization center.
