Rocky Mountain Leos - Dog Training and Rescue

Our goal is to save Cocker Spaniels while working together with animal control and shelters to rehabilitate those who have been abused or neglected. We also aim to educate people about the value of sterilizing all pets and help owners with medical care or dog surrender as an alternative to giving their dogs to a shelter.

Colorado Cocker Spaniel Rescue helps stray dog pounds, homes that can no longer care for them, and unwanted and abandoned Cocker Spaniels find new homes. Until they are adopted, the dogs are cared for in foster homes by our volunteers in the Denver, Colorado, region.

Adoptions through the Dumb Friends League Buddy Center are only available online. At the moment, our Leslie A. Malone Center in Denver is accepting applications for in-person adoptions.

K9 Trust rescues, rehabs, and trains dogs who have suffered abuse, neglect, or are about to be put down. We think that only dogs who have endured negative experiences can be considered "Bad Dogs," not the other way around.

The goal of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Colorado Animal Welfare League (CAWL) is to protect stray animals in Colorado and the neighboring states of Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, and New Mexico.
