Washington Area Humane Society

The 51-acre Angel Ridge Farm in Washington County, Pennsylvania is home to Angel Ridge Animal Rescue, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping animals.

Pet Search is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that rescues, cares for, and places unwanted and homeless domestic animals in southwestern Pennsylvania. Pet Search was once known as People for Animal Welfare when it was established in 1987 by animal enthusiasts. In 1996, it changed its name to Pet Search.

South Hills Pet Rescue's goal is to rescue, care for, and rehome dogs of various breeds and conditions.

Together with Mt. Lebanon, Dormont, Scott Township, Green Tree, Whitehall, Castle Shannon, Heidelberg, Carnegie, Rosslyn Farms, Baldwin Township, Pennsbury Village, Bethel Park, and Baldwin Borough, the Township of Upper St. Clair takes part in an animal control program.

We are a McDonald, Pennsylvania-based, 100% volunteer-run no-kill cat rescue that is continually providing care for 20–40 stray cats and kittens at a time.

Merlin's Safe Haven Cat Rescue was founded to provide rescue, care, and placement for cats who have been abandoned, mistreated, abused, or are unable to be retained by their prior owner (s).
