The goal of Thundering Paws Animal Sanctuary is to provide a haven for cats that have been abandoned, mistreated, hurt, or abused. When we care for animals in foster homes, we help other animals.

The 501(c)3 non-profit PAWS Shelter of Central Texas (PAWS) was established in Kyle, Texas, in 1986 to care for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals in the region. We are a no-kill shelter that supports giving animals another chance! For however long it takes us to find them a loving home, PAWS provides companion animals with medical treatment, care, and love.

A sanctuary for animals run entirely by volunteers. Due to the restricted number of volunteers, we are only open by appointment. Since 1997, we have placed thousands of dogs and cats in loving homes.
