The goal of Detroit Animal Care is to protect the people and tourists of the City of Detroit from zoonotic diseases, animal bites, and traffic dangers while also promoting their health, safety, and welfare;

The Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society (MACS) has committed its efforts since 1935 to giving stray, hurt, and abandoned animals a place to call home. We actively pursue affirmative legislative action while advancing humane education.

Through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming, Rebel Dogs Detroit, a radical no-kill rescue collective situated in the heart of Detroit, Michigan, aims to combat the plague of stray dogs.

501 (C)(3) nonprofit All About Animals Rescue is committed to No More Homeless Pets and the avoidance of the euthanasia of healthy adoptable animals by offering affordable wellness care and spaying/neutering for cats and dogs.

When she saved her first cat in 2015, founder Marie Perreault started rescuing. Her activities have since developed into Detroit Community Cat Rescue. We are a 501c3 nonprofit and the first cat-only shelter in Detroit.
