Southwest Georgia is home to Lee County, one of Georgia's original 32 counties. We are a fast expanding community that nonetheless maintains a small-town feel while providing a full range of amenities and services.

The Sumter Humane Society, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, has an effect on the neighborhood. Many of the animals at the shelter get their first vaccinations and medical attention.

We need your assistance because we rescue animals. The world may not change because of saving one animal, but the animal's world will.
