The County oversees the Cabarrus County Animal Shelter. No animal in need is turned away by us.

To raise awareness of animals in need of assistance among Cabarrus County residents and to promote pet spaying and neutering as a means of reducing the animal population.

The objective of Cabarrus Pets Society, a non-profit animal rescue founded in 2002 and run entirely by volunteers, is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome mistreated, abandoned, and unwanted dogs and cats in the wider Cabarrus County area.

The mission of Cabarrus & Stanly County Animal Rescue is to save animals and provide them with a temporary home until they can be adopted by loving homes.

The mission of Mount Pleasant Animal Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is to save as many animals as it can and place them in wholesome, devoted homes.

The 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue Precious Kittens Cat Rescue is led by Susan and a group of devoted fosters and volunteers who are dedicated to saving cats in need. Charlotte, North Carolina, is where we are situated.
