Anderson County Animal Shelter

Two distinct facets of animal care fall under the purview of animal control. Employees manage day-to-day activities at the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter as well as fieldwork with animals.

501(c)3 non-profit SARG, Inc. (Shelter Animals Rescue Group) was established in January 1996 with the mission of saving animals from the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter and the surrounding communities.

Tennessee Doberman Rescue Plus (formerly known as A Pinsch of Heaven Doberman Rescue) is an incorporated non-profit 501(c)3 tax exempt organization that is registered and chartered with the state of Tennessee. The group's board is made up entirely of volunteers, as are all of its fosters.

A non-profit group called Happy Paws Kitten Rescue is committed to helping homeless, abandoned, and abused cats in East Tennessee by giving them care, medical attention, and new homes. Additionally, we are devoted to fostering the human-animal link and promoting healthy animal care through community education. kittens for adoption adopt a cat and kitten

To use TNR (trap-neuter-return), public outreach, and community-based cat care to reduce the number of cats in the Knoxville, Tennessee, area and surrounding counties.

The Humane Society of Tennessee Valley has been in operation since 1885, making it the state's oldest animal refuge.
