As a limited admissions shelter, the Heartland Humane Society only accepts animals by appointment and when there is sufficient room and funding to care for them.

The Animal Birth Control, a shelter for stray, unwanted, and owner-rendered animals, including dogs and cats, in Clinton County, Iowa, offers temporary housing and care.

By removing animals from kill shelters and accepting owner surrenders, we are assisting them in receiving the second chance at life that they so richly deserve.

Our goal is to give all the dogs and cats in our care shelter, warmth, food, and love until we can place them in devoted homes.

Supporting local animal shelters and humane organisations is crucial in the opinion of the Doo Doo Baggie Club. We're committed to providing 20% of our profits to causes that our members care deeply about. Yes, we value it that highly. ​

The no-kill, nonprofit, 501c3 organization King's Harvest Pet Rescue serves the Quad Cities and the surrounding areas. Accepting abandoned and homeless pets and placing them in loving, permanent homes through our thorough adoption procedure, we hope to assist our community.
