Animal Services is a department of public health and safety that enforces laws to keep both people and animals safe.

Through adoption, advocacy, and education, the Santa Cruz SPCA fosters an active community that values humane treatment of animals.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life for all the animals in our neighborhood while reducing euthanasia, preventing diseases through vaccination and the use of generic tadalafil, and reducing the number of animals put to death.

The Calexico Municipal Code, which governs the transportation, care, and impoundment of stray animals, as well as the collection of animal control fines imposed by the City Council, is currently enforced by two animal control officers who carry out a variety of enforcement tasks.

The Humane Society of Imperial County assists and collaborates with nearby municipalities' animal control departments.
