Smokey & Izzy's Rescue Sanctuary

In an era of great need, the Humane Society of Dickson County was established thirty years ago. Millions of animals were dying in shelters across the nation, and the situation was terrible in rural areas without a local remedy for stray dogs.

In the areas of adoptions, animal health, rescues, and transfers, the shelter closely collaborates with Cheatham County Animal Awareness.

You can visit the cat cafe to hang out with the cats and, if you'd like, drink some coffee. Additionally, adoption is a possibility for all cats. Kittens are chasing one other and seeking your company while you play with them or simply cuddle with them.

Our goal is to be a trusted resource for the community and a respected leader in the promotion of animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, rabies control, public safety, and adherence to local and state laws.

The mission of Critter Cavalry Rescue (CCR) is to save homeless dogs and some exceptional cats from Tennessee high-kill shelters.
