Through progressive animal welfare initiatives, community outreach, and humane education in a culture of compassion, creativity, and integrity, the Moore County Sheriff's Office Animal Services' mission is to promote an environment of responsible pet ownership while upholding local and state animal laws.

Regardless of age, breed, disability, or special requirements, to rescue and rehabilitate North Carolina's abused, tortured, and neglected animals. Dedicated to advocating our No-Kill policy, eradicating Breed Selective Legislation (BSL), preventing animal abuse, increasing animal welfare, and saving more lives.

Mary founded Lending Paws A Hand (LPAH) with the goal of assisting animals while promoting pet ownership awareness in Lee County and the surrounding regions.

Our organization's mission is to encourage responsible pet ownership via humane education and to care for domestic companion animals until a loving, responsible home can be found for them or until they are found and returned to their guardians.

The goal of Hoke County Animal Control and Shelter is to safeguard the public by actively enforcing all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as to prevent and look into animal cruelty.
