Animal welfare is the focus of the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA), a neighborhood private nonprofit. One of our main initiatives is the PHS/SPCA's adoption of all of the healthy dogs and cats in our care. We also find homes for thousands of animals who are brought to us sick, injured, or too young to survive without support through our charity-funded Hope Program.
