Animal Care and Welfare Shelter

We care for many animals that, for a variety of reasons, cannot be adopted into homes because we are a no-kill sanctuary.

We are a foster-based, all-volunteer, cat and dog rescue. Our main focus is on saving cats and dogs from local kill shelters that are about to be put down. They are temporarily housed while we have them sterilized and examined by a veterinarian.

The homeless, ill, injured, and abandoned animals in Mohave County are supported financially and by volunteers from Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter.

A no-kill adoption facility has been established by Mutt Matchers & Friends to save adoptable canines from being put to death. While we can't save them all, we can save hundreds of them by rescuing and rehoming lovely pets.

The largest selection and most attractive cats are found at Gypsy Cats. We warmly accept tax-deductible gifts of cat and dog food. Petting, feeding, cleaning, and manning the nearby Gypsy Cats Thrift Store are all in need of volunteers.

Licensed to house up to 70 animals and in good standing with all governmental organizations is Help Animals Lives Today, a non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill animal rescue organization in Kingman, Arizona. No government financing; totally supported by volunteers and donations.
