Through adoption, free public spay/neuter services, sheltering, and education, The Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia is committed to encouraging the compassionate treatment of animals in our community.

We are a tiny, locally owned animal refuge in Darien, Georgia. We are devoted to finding homes for our animals through adoption or rescue.

The Humane Society's goal is to prevent animal cruelty effectively and to work with local, state, and federal authorities to prosecute those who may be responsible for animal cruelty in accordance with the law.

Through TVNR (trap, vaccinate, neuter, return), we work to decrease the number of stray pets in Liberty and the surrounding counties while also providing pet owners with spay and neuter assistance.
