Blytheville Animal Shelter

The Blytheville Humane Society is a no-kill organization that values the contributions of its staff and volunteers in keeping the shelter open. The shelter receives funding from the two sites of the neighborhood thrift store known as Orphan Annie's.

Our goal at WMAS is to advance the wellbeing of both humans and animals living in West Memphis. To do this, we responsibly and humanely enforce federal, state, and municipal laws pertaining to animals.

Our main goal is to work together with local no-kill shelters to transfer their long-term, abandoned dogs to a sanctuary where they can be given priority regardless of age, breed, or ease of placement. We also aim to parevent the euthanasia of dogs at public shelters.

By assisting neighborhood animals and advocating for their humane treatment, the City of Marion Animal Shelter safeguards the health and safety of its residents.
