The Rescue Pack

Each year, Animal Control answers to close to 3,000 service requests involving animals. Each year, the animal shelter receives up to 600 impounded domestic and non-domestic animals from Bloomington, the majority of which are returned to their owners.

Dogs are saved by Warrior Dog Rescue who are abandoned in shelters, left homeless, handed over by their owners, abused, neglected, or allowed to wander the streets.

Our group works hard to locate each animal a long-term, loving home while also providing them with a safe place to live, appropriate veterinarian treatment, and daily necessities. Dogs are rescued by Secondhand Hounds from Midwest kill shelters and pet owners who are unable to care for their animals.

Our vision is that one day all Golden Retrievers and Golden Mixes will have forever homes. RAGOM's objective is to rescue, foster, and find permanent homes for Golden Retrievers and Golden Mixes in need.

Our mission is to rescue Collies who have been abandoned, place them in foster homes, care for them medically, evaluate their personalities and characteristics, find the ideal adoption match for them, and then place them in devoted permanent homes.
