Happy Day Humane Society

Animal Control works to regulate and safeguard Big Spring's animal population, uphold animal laws, safeguard the health and welfare of local residents, and find suitable homes for as many unwanted animals as they can.

501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals is dedicated to the welfare of animals. The Humane Society of the United States and the ASPCA do not provide financial support to our shelter, nor do the federal, state, or local governments. In order to advance our purpose of Saving and Changing Lives, we only rely on donations, grants, bequests, and fundraising events. The animals at Lone Star Sanctuary for Animals are kept in our care until they are adopted into a forever home because we are a no-kill facility.

Several volunteer organizations, like the Midland Humane Coalition and MASA, which frequently post images of the animals at the shelter on their Facebook pages, assist the Midland Animal Shelter.

Through our innovative rescue, shelter, and adoption programs, Grand Companions enables people to save, honor, and connect with homeless pets.

The goal of the 501(C)3 non-profit Midland Humane Coalition is to work with the local community to stop the killing of healthy, adoptable dogs and cats and to find them Furr-Ever Homes.

Animals can be rescued and adopted from the City of Snyder Animal Shelter. The animals on show here can be adopted right now.
