The mission of the Forgotten Friends of Long Island Animal Rescue Group is to save companion animals. Many of them have been neglected by society for a long time while living in municipal shelters.

Animal Control should be notified of stray dogs or lost or found pets. The Animal Shelter should be contacted first by anyone who wants to adopt a pet. The Shelter regularly updates its lists of pets up for adoption.

The mission of Last Hope, Inc., a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, is the rescue and rehabilitation of stray, abandoned, and animals facing death at the pound.

To continuously increase our efforts to rescue, shelter, treat, and rehabilitate helpless animals in order to give them a second opportunity at a happy and healthy life.
