Our shelter, which was given the Donofrio family's name in honor of their generous and ongoing support, is an excellent example of shelter design and animal care best practices.

An award-winning nonprofit volunteer-based group called Looking Glass Animal Rescue is committed to saving animals from high-kill shelters, hoarder situations, puppy mills, animal fighting rings, and other abusive conditions.

By encouraging compassion and acceptance, the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary improves the lives of all creatures. We're making the world kinder and gentler for everyone by respecting the connection between animals, people, and the environment.

We adopt animals from the shelter on a first-come, first-served basis.

The New Fairfield/Sherman Animal Welfare Society, Inc.'s purpose is to provide homeless dogs and cats with a home, care, and a second chance at life;

One of Connecticut's actual no-kill shelters is us. We provide a home for abandoned dogs and cats that are up for adoption.
