Boone County Animal Services

The mission of the 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue group Survivors for Strays is to save stray, abandoned, and abused animals.

Currently, R&R Sanctuary is a small foster-based rescue with the ability to draw animals from a number of high-kill shelters, provide approved foster homes, and place animals with verified families. As a 501c3 NONPROFIT, we exist.

To stop animal cruelty caused by pet overpopulation, offer affordable spay/neuter services. aid in helping adoptable animals find homes. The community should be given humane educational resources and programs.

Our goal at C.A.R.E. for P.E.T.S. is to offer community outreach programs that will enhance the wellbeing, security, and longevity of pets in Winnebago County, thereby reducing the number of animals requiring the care of animal services and their intake.

The county's only government-run animal services and animal sheltering institution, the Animal Services department provides care for 4,000 animals annually on average and serves all towns.

Katie's Lane is a location where any animal in need of rescue, rehabilitation, or shelter can go. a secure setting where animals in the neighborhood can recuperate, become better, and get ready to live their best lives ever.
