PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap

An animal welfare NGO with a volunteer-based grassroots program is PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap. It aims to foster and sustain the relationship between pets and their owners by offering a wide range of direct services.

The goal of Kitsap Animal Rescue & Education (KARE), a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers and centered in Kitsap County, is to educate the public about animal care while also supporting local animal shelters and rescue efforts.

With the help of veterinary services, informational programs, and other initiatives that advance animal welfare, Seattle Humane rescues animals in need and matches them with families.

To stop overpopulation and fewer future homeless pets, we spay and neuter thousands of animals each year. The Kitsap Humane Society has provided shelter to animals since 1908 and hopes to see all available pets placed in devoted homes.
