S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue and Thrift Store

In order to allow animals to live happily and healthily in their homes, we work to end the need for families to surrender their pets to shelters.

With the intention of saving animals from euthanasia in kill shelters, SAFE was established in 2008.

In St. Augustine, Florida, we operate a non-profit cat and dog rescue. Every year, our volunteers assist in finding homes for hundreds of dogs and cats.

The Friends 501(c)(3) group supports and advertises the Pet Center's adoption and care of animals.

Over 27,000 amazing, priceless creatures that become homeless for no fault of their own have been saved by SAFE to this point. Everyone gets an opportunity to get the home they so deeply want since they each have a story, a heart, and sentiments.

We give lost and hungry animals a place to stay and food, and we match them with lifelong partners in forever homes.
