Animal Haven of Asheville

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was established in 2007 to improve the lives of companion animals and the humans who care for them. We collaborate across county borders with the aim of using powerful, strategic, and creative programs to save as many lives as we can.

Every animal deserves a life that is worthwhile in our opinion. We're here for humans and pets far beyond love at first sight, offering everything from behavior classes to one-on-one adoption counseling, education, and ongoing care.

We're always here for the animals in our community as Buncombe County's only open-admission animal shelter.

We want to set an example for how all cats should be treated humanely as they age. We offer foster care and sanctuary homes while we seek funds to construct our senior cat sanctuary.

Since we began in 2017, Mountain Pet Rescue, an Asheville, North Carolina-based foster-based animal rescue, has rescued thousands of lives thanks to the love and support of many fosters, volunteers, and donors.

A volunteer-run, nonprofit group called Charlie's Angels is committed to rescuing adoptable dogs and cats from local shelters.
