Albemarle, North Carolina's (formerly animal control) municipal shelter is a managed intake facility. The Stanly County Sheriff's Office's SCAPS division

Our goal is to reduce the number of animals that are mistreated, abused, abandoned, and put to death. This is what we're aiming towards, and we work hard every day to get there.

We are a tiny, entirely volunteer-run rescue that assists stray cats and dogs in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.

The mission of Mount Pleasant Animal Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is to save as many animals as it can and place them in wholesome, devoted homes.

The mission of Cabarrus & Stanly County Animal Rescue is to save animals and provide them with a temporary home until they can be adopted by loving homes.

A non-profit 501-C3 organization, the Montgomery County Humane Society is a no-kill animal shelter. Since May 2015, when the brand-new institution first opened its doors, animals have been saved and adopted out.
