VALLEY HUMANE LEAGUE

The Dumb Friends League San Luis Valley Animal Center provides services for lost and found items in addition to adoptions and shelter for stray dogs and cats.

A loving and sympathetic refuge for dogs is the Conour Animal Shelter. Rio Grande, Saguache, and Mineral counties are the ones we directly serve.

My Second Home is a no-kill organization whose goal is to save and place stray, abandoned, and neglected dogs in high-kill shelters, particularly those who are about to be put to death because of overcrowding in these shelters.

An independent, privately owned, non-profit organization is The Humane Society of Fremont County. We are an open-admission animal shelter that offers services for animals.

In order to provide proper and humane animal care in the Trinidad area, a group of concerned citizens founded Noah's Ark Animal Welfare Association in 1998 as a foster-based program.
