Aberdeen Area Humane Society

The homeless animals in our community are loved and cared for by the Glacial Lakes Humane Society, which provides them with shelter, food, warmth, only absolutely necessary medical care, exercise, and attention. To find the most suited pets a "fur-ever" home, we work hard to match them with prospective adopters. Most adopters will quickly find a good pet match because we often have a large choice of available animals.

In order to address the problems of animal welfare and encourage ethical pet ownership, the Beadle County Humane Society was founded.

The goal and mission of PAWS Animal Rescue, Inc. are to educate people about animal cruelty prevention, help displaced animals find care, and support the establishment of a new animal shelter in the Pierre-Ft.

The Community Service Division of the Brookings Police Department is charged with helping to provide safe traffic control operations while also providing the community of Brookings with high-quality, sympathetic, and prompt animal control services.
